HAED Progress #1

This is the progress of my HAED Moon Glow -

Okay you can't see the difference between the black and the navy. You can under my daylight though, and when just looking at it normally. I have done 2964 stitches now in 10days stitching. I am now going to move to the right and complete some of the coloured stitches there whilst alternating between the blacks on pages 1 and 2.

I am going to complete a couple of black squares (about 200stitches) for every coloured bit I stitch, so that I don't get bored of the black!

Pretty much the rest of that space that I have marked out on page 1 is black I've done all the navy stitches on that page

I hope you like my progress even though you can't see much at the moment...I'm quite proud of it...I have worked out that it will take me between 7 and 8 months to complete...so I am giving myself the next year to complete her!

Baby W's Sampler WIP Progress #3

More progress on my baby sampler for Baby W! Can't do much more because am waiting for Baby W to be born so I can put name, date, time & weight onto it.





I hope that you like my progress on it so far & it should be finished soon (I hope) then I can start on my HAED - Moon Glow...I'm very excited about that !!!

Baby W's Sampler WIP Progress #2

I did a bit more of the sampler as I'm really enjoying it. I did a bit of the blanket. It is all colour changes so much slower going now...


I can't wait for baby to be born so I can find out date, time, weight and of course the baby's name hurry up Baby Whinfield!!!

Baby W's Sampler WIP Progress #1

on one of Emma's beautiful fabrics...this is for Baby Whinfield (not sure yet if it is a girl or a boy...)
No news just yet and I think he or she was due today but you know how reluctant a baby can be to enter the world - especially in all this cold!!!

So I chose a design from a back issue of CSC (I don't know which issue mind) which has a teddy holding a blanket and the words 'new baby' written in baby blocks. I have selected parts of the image (because it is lots of little images together to make the sampler up) and decided to stitch them to make it's completion a bit faster.

I've been off work today due to my god knows what I'm suffering from...(virus maybe?!) so I have done a lot

Finished!!!

Mum's apron is finished...(I have decided!) lots of nice comments from people on WOCS and here so I have decided that if I did anymore to it, it'd look cluttered. So Yay!!!

Right now I am working on a birth sampler for the arrival of Baby Whinfield...who is due any day soon. I don't know whether it is going to be a girl or a boy so have chosen a design from a back issue of CSC which could do for either ...

That's it really. Intend to spend most of today stitching as I am trying to recover from a virus , it sucks!!! Nobody (doctor wise) can tell me what I am suffering from so have shoved me on some anti-biotics JUST IN CASE!!! GRR!!!

Anywhoos...best get on with some stitching of some sort!!!

Mum's Apron...fourth set of photos :0)

Possibly the last set of photos of this project as I feel I am finished with it. Now it just needs to be washed and ironed and wrapped for Christmas ...

I'm not sure whether it needs a bit more doing to it?! I feel that the gap above and below MUM and the cupcakes maybe should be filled?! Or is that going a bit overboard?! See photos below:

--- The slight Christmassy element to my design as it IS for a Christmas present!!!

--- Ignore the slight purple lines around some of the designs, they will disappear...honest!!! :0/...

Now moving onto the last two xmas cards I have to do and a baby sampler it's non-stop as per usual

I hope you like it and if you think I should add a bit more top and bottom of the design please say - because I can't make up my mind ?!

Mum's Apron...third set of photos :0)

I have done some more on my Mum's apron. Finished the teddy and stitched MUM in the middle. Here are some photos:

I plan to stitch some cupcakes and a couple of christmassy things in the space I have left...I'll keep you updated when I finish it :0)...am off to do some now I think. Once I've flicked the heating on BRRR!!! xXx
